This easy banana milk is made with real ingredients, no dyes or artificial flavors, and has just the right amount of sweetness. All you need are 4 ingredients and a blender!
1smallfrozen ripe banana (100g weighed without peel)
¾cupmilk
¼cupwater
1tablespoonhemp seeds (optional)
½teaspoonvanilla extract
Optional: 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup OR 1 date (soaked in hot water so it's easy to blend)
Instructions
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
Control how sweet you want the milk to be - the more ripe the banana is, the sweeter the milk will be. You can also taste and add maple syrup or date syrup if you don't want it to be too banana-y.
If you are desiring a banana smoothie, substitute water with milk and blend with several ice cubes to help thicken.
This milk is best served cold. You can either use frozen banana, which is what I like to do, or ice cold water and milk. You can also add some ice cubes after blending.
