Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, fresh or frozen (See note)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon or lime juice

Optional

  • ½ cup water, coconut water, or sparkling water
  • 2-3 teaspoons honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add the strawberries (I like to leave the tops on) and lemon juice into a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Add ½ cup cold water, if using, and blend until combined. Add more if you desire a thinner consistency.
  • Enjoy is or strain in a strainer or cheesecloth to remove any pulp.

Notes

  • The flavor of strawberries can vary greatly depending on their ripeness, variety, and how they're grown. Therefore, if the juice is on the tart side, add some honey, maple syrup, or date syrup
  • Depending on your blender, you may need to strain the juice if you desire a perfectly smooth consistency.
  • Add some ice cubes if you like your juice really chilled.
