Ingredients

  • 3 medium peaches (around 1 ¼ pound) , sliced and frozen
  • ½ medium banana, frozen
  • ½ cup (115g) plain whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor/blender. If using a blender, add the yogurt and lemon juice first, followed by the frozen peaches and banana.
  • Blend until the yogurt is thick and creamy. If using a blender, start on low speed then increase to its highest speed. Be sure to use the tamper that comes with it to press the ingredients down towards the blades. If using a food processor, scrape down the sides as you go.
Note: Don't blend for too long. Otherwise, the yogurt will get too soft and start melting.
  • Serve immediately for soft-serve consistency. You can also transfer to a shallow freezer-safe container and freeze or add to popsicle molds.

Notes

  • Note that if you freeze overnight, the yogurt will harden completely. You will need to let it sit at room temperature for it to become scoopable.
  • You can use any non-dairy alternative! Be sure to look for Greek-style for the thick consistency.
