Hello there! Kona here! My chance to shine on this blog is just once a month, but boy, I can't help but feel like I just wrote my last one not too long ago!
But alas, the time is here...spotlight on me! Thank you, Cinnamon, once again for this opportunity! Also, I'd love to meet all you four-legged friends out there, so if you are not being showcased monthly, please do convince your mommies to join in on the fun! Go 23 Paws!!
Anyway, I'm actually experiencing some separation anxiety as my parents are in San Francisco right now for a wedding. As I am feeling quite depressed, this post is going to be a short one.
Just like my mommy, when I'm feeling low, I like to indulge. And at this moment, I'm really craving my ultimate comfort food, turkey meatballs! Yup, that's right! You guys aren't the only ones who get to enjoy savoring these globes of goodness! She makes sure to add all my favorites - lean turkey, carrots, zucchini, oats...she loves me! However, I only get to eat them once a year...on my birthday to be exact. You see, this delicious tradition started almost three years ago on my first birthday!
The morning of my big day, my parents showered me with hugs and kisses, then all of a sudden instructed me to go to bed! I was not a happy camper. But then my mom popped out from the kitchen, with a plate that appeared to be glowing. Whatever it was, it sure was purty. Then she told me to stay still, hence the finger...
After they sung me a song (which seemed to last forever), I finally got to explore the plate. Oh boy....now this was a life-changing moment! I gobbled those meatballs in no time and licked the plate clean!
I wish my birthday was coming up soon...
But before that, my most urgent wish is for my parents to come pick me up soon! Even though we're not together, I know she's thinking of me...
Now I know the hairbands, earrings, and necklace are in the shape of a Scottie, but they were the closest resemblance that she could find of me. Well, when people only see my face, they think I am a Scottish Terrier...then they see my long, sexy legs (I love my legs!) and realize my true identity!
Can't wait to be reunited...counting down the hours... What can I say? I'm a total mama's boy! In my defense, she made me this way! Oh, I miss you too, Daddy!

Meeko and I love learning more about Kona!! I love the birthday tradition. Are those turkey meatballs yummy for humans too? (I hope that questions doesn't make me sound too weird). If so, you should share the recipe! I love all of your Schnauzer items - if I ever see anything cattle dog related I have to get it since it's not common to find it.
I hope you are having a wonderful time in San Francisco!
Min says
Haha! not weird at all! They're actually not very yummy for humans. It's without parmesan, marina sauce, breadcrumbs...just turkey, carrots, zucchini, cottage cheese, oats. Oh and the best part, no salt or garlic! Gasp..Yup..def not for me. But excellent for Kona! I'm going to have him try bison soon 😉
